PORTFOLIO NEED:
The Darkroom Gallery is a space dedicated to recognizing great photography and exposing international work. The gallery has two, very large windows that face the street. Fantastic for advertising, but not for a gallery, with UV concerns. The windows face East and on a sunny day, the sun BEAMS in.
SOLUTION:
The solution was black & white to us. Together with Tim, we created an ideal solution that worked on so many levels. Our designer suggested a fabric with 5% openess in Charcoal. With the darker color, the see-thru benefit is great, and yet it still blocks much of the unwanted UV rays and annoying glare. Tim also expressed a need for an advertising component. We added a large Darkroom Gallery logo. The stark contrast of the bright-white logo on the deep, dark Charcoal EcoSmart Roller fabric is nothing less than eye-catching.
