The Role:
A successful Installer for Gordon’s Window Décor works well with others as well as independently and thrives in a collaborative environment. They are efficient, great with Clients, able to think on their feet and above all they are reliable. Our Installers are responsible for installing and repairing window fashion products in residential and commercial spaces. As a nimble Team there are times when the Installers flex into Production and when Production flexes into Install. A successful installation means the product goes in the first time, the Client is shown how the product works, and every step of the Gordon’s process is followed to ensure a great experience for our Clients!
Some of the Details:
- Our Install Team installs window treatments (such as blinds, shutters, etc.) in a friendly, efficient manner
- Our Installers are EXTREMELY comfortable talking with Clients and making sure they understand and are happy with their products.
- There is a steady flow of work, installing our products throughout Vermont (and some parts of NY, NH)
- Our Installers measure for and install many types of blinds, shades and shutters for residential and commercial projects according to the highest industry standards
- Thinking creatively is important as our Installers use personal judgment and initiative to develop effective solutions to challenges and obstacles when on the job
- Our Clients love that our Installers provide exceptional customer service, and remain friendly, polite, courteous, and professional at all times
- We take care of our Client’s property at all times to ensure it remains protected and undamaged.
- Reliability is paramount as our Install calendar is booked out weeks in advance.

Qualifications:
- Excellent communication both verbal and written
- A minimum of 3 years of experience with tools and/or industry related Installation experience is required
- Consistent, reliable, on-time attendance is required
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Ability to read tape measure and perform mathematical calculations
- Pass a background check
