The role of the Installers:
Our Installers play one of the most important roles in the company because they are the last interaction the client has with our Team for that specific project. The Installers get to bring the final design vision to fruition and solidify the client’s relationship with Gordon’s Window Décor. Because everything we do is custom, almost no two Installations are the same which lends great variety to the position. Our Installation Team is a source of

Commercial Project Estimator Commercial Project Estimator
Full Time Position
The purpose of our Commercial Project Estimator:
An important division within Gordon’s Window Decor is our Commercial division which services commercial clients ranging from hospitals to universities to multifamily development. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Commercial Project Estimator to join our team. This person will work closely with our sales team, clients, and vendors to ensure that project estimates are comprehensive, competitive, and aligned with customer needs and budget.
Responsibilities and Contributions:
- Review project specifications, blueprints, and other relevant documentation to understand project requirements and scope for projects on which we are bidding to determine project fit for GWD.
- Respond to all bid requests after the above assessment.
- After accepting a bid, perform the Take Off with corresponding documentation.
- Prepare bids to review with the Team and submit to the client.
- Follow-up on all bid submissions for award
- For awarded business, facilitate contracting process
○ Get contract signed
○ Ensure COI are submitted to contractor
○ Comply and coordinate all other GC sub’s requirements
● Coordinate with GWD PM Team for project preparation and submittals
○ Create Monday.com Project entry and keep up-to-date
● Enter orders into our ePIC software system, ensuring accuracy and completeness of order details.
● Assist Project Manager as needed

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Commercial Project Estimator
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, architectural drawings, and project specifications.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to accurately calculate project costs and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and build strong relationships.
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
