Gordon Clements started Gordon’s Window Decor in 1986, building it from a one-man operation in his basement to an internationally recognized company employing over 25 professionals.
Gordon has been in the window covering industry for most of his professional career. He was the Vice President of Hunter Douglas and then bought Canso-Graber in 1981.
He opened Gordon’s Window Décor in 1986 when the commute from Vermont to Montreal got to be too much and it was clear Vermont was where he and his wife Dianne wanted to raise their daughters.
The company has grown since then and has been passed on to Kelly, his youngest daughter and the next generation of Gordon’s Window Décor.
