Adding Color

I just adore color and totally appreciate it when I see it used well in a space – take the really lovely case in point in the photo below on the left. The walls are calming green and cream and  then the bold yellow Roman shades add an amazing splash of color and “WOW!” to the space.

Now check out my living room (below on the right)- where is the “WOW!”? I definitely need a dash of color so I am making it my goal to get color into my home by the end of 2012- I’d love to hear your ideas!
