Village Wine & Coffee specialize in smaller and family run wineries from around the world. We have over 1000 wines in stock and access to thousands more. They firmly believe in the stewardship and health of the vineyards, the people who farm them, the skills and education of the winemakers. The wines must be well made. Traceability is the most important aspect in helping them select wines along with connections to many of the winemakers they represent. Their coffee shop consists of espresso-based drinks and Fair Trade organic coffees, along with home baked pastries from High Meadows Bakery and O'BREAD Bakery.

The owner of Village Wine & Coffee in Shelburne, Vermont has very precious inventory to protect from the harsh sunlight. With large glorious front windows, ideal to catch passersby’s attention, but not ideal for keeping delicious wine cool.

Our Solution

Our designer used a combination of fabrics for the made in Vermont EcoSmart Roller Shades. Using 1% and 5% Charcoal and White/Charcoal in the windows in the shop, controlled the amount of heat, glare and sun cascading on to the wine inventory. Not only does the wine appreciate the amazing heat reduction, but the staff are more comfortable.
