Insolroll, EcoSmart and Hunter Douglas Cellular Shades

When a homeowner has a variety of issues that they wish to resolve, our designers rise to the challenge. From the porch to their children’s bedrooms, we found the shading solutions that work for each room creating comfortable living.

In the dining room, Kelly designed a solution with our EcoSmart Roller Shades. Our homeowners wanted to preserve the gorgeous view, but reduce the extreme afternoon glare. She designed the shade with 5% Openness, in a white/grey. When the shade is not in use, up UP it goes, not obstructing their stunning meadow views. And when down, nothing but soft filtered light cascades in, during dinnertime.

Dining ‘al fresco’ here in Vermont has SUCH a small window,(no pun intended). We Vermonters want to take advantage of every single chance we get! On our client’s beautifully screened-in porch, that pesky afternoon Sun once again wanted to blind everyone! 😣Our designer created a simple, yet very practical outdoor shading system, with Insolroll Exterior Shades. And now, evening dining while the Sun hangs in the sky until 8:30 pm will be utterly enjoyable, and a lot less squinty.😃

Moving upstairs to the children’s & guest bedrooms, a combination of Hunter Douglas Duette shades and EcoSmart Roller Shades were used. Let’s be honest, parents deserve quiet time, and having semi-opaque/room-darkening shades in your children’s bedrooms is an investment you’ll be giddy you did! When designing shades for kiddos rooms, we go cordless.  If that is not an option, we secure the cords with proper hold-downs, for ultimate safety.

In their guestroom, in the peak of the home, EcoSmart Roller Shades were selected. Having your guests perfectly shaded with just the right amount of sunshine, ensures they won’t sleep tooooo late, but have enough shading to sleep in. *wink*
