“Working with Vermont manufactured goods, services and craftsmen was very important to us,” said Greg Trulson, co-owner of the Moose Meadow Lodge, “and that’s how we found Gordon’s.”

Greg and Willie worked closely with our designer Donna. They needed a solution that worked on numerous levels. Design, function, ease of operation, and insulation in the winter/summer months.

Being in the rustic, log cabin aesthetic, Ecosmart shades have a more modern, contemporary design. When Donna showed how the color of the shade gracefully blends into the surrounding walls, there was no need to look any further.

        

Greg and Willie decided to use our double cellular light filtering fabric in each room.

The color blends seamlessly to the rooms.

“Using room-darkening fabric would have made the already dark rooms, more cave-like. “We love the glow the shade gives to each space.” said Greg.

“OH we love your shades! They are so easy to take down, when we clean, and they are so reliable.” said Greg, “We never worry about our guests having trouble with them.”

Each shade at Moose Meadow, has our continuous cord operation.

The loop-pulley system, is so easy for everyone to use!

      

Having large panes of glass in each of their guestrooms, proved to be a BIT chilly in the winter months for all that stayed there. More excuse to cuddle, right?

        

       

Greg and Willie also love how our shades collapse to such a low profile when closed.

They practically disappear.

      

Donna agrees, it’s an experience staying at the lodge. The warmth and comfort is definitely there.
