Last week, Kelly, our president, Barb, our Designer and Gordon himself traveled to Fort Lauderdale to the IWCE!

Classes, Seminars and SO MUCH learning!

Gordon was there to promote his life-saving shading system Secur Shade. Kelly said, “It took us FOREVER to get through the lobby because EVERYONE was talking with Gordon! The man, the myth, the legend’ was back! It’s been two+ years since the last in-person expo. It was so great to see old friends and see the faces of the voices, of the many people we’ve worked with over the years.”

“Loved learning about drapery and drapery hardware… some great tips for Ripplefold were revealed. And then the coolest was to learn more about the motorized approach to drapery. Some of our gorgeous Vermont views are through wonderful TALL and wwwiiidddeee windows – motorization is the perfect solution! New trending colors…. Terracotta, Blush and lots of exploding, colorful, large prints! My favorite seminar was not 1, but 2 – Window Fashion Design Certification and ‘Color Trends: What’s Hot and What’s Not for 2022.’

Both Forest Drapery Hardware and Rowley Company were awesome educators about new trends in their companies, lines! Oh and – heard about a cool tool – the Walabot! Gotta know what is above those windows and behind the walls!” ,  shared Barb

**So many VENDORS!**        *So MUCH to see!*       **So much INSPIRATION!**

Kelly popped over to one of her favorite vendors, Forest Drapery Hardware!

“The International Window Covering Expo made it clear that our industry is excited to innovate. Between products that help with the environment through recyclable materials or energy savings and products that help with child safety there were so many exciting takeaways. Getting the chance to talk with other professionals about best practices, ways to further delight our clients, and just network in general felt amazing. I definitely came back from the show invigorated and pumped to be in this industry!” stated Kelly

Thanks so much for IWCE and all their sponsors for such an educational expo. Already looking forward to next time!
