COTS- 2022 Holiday Giving!
"Everyone Deserves a home."
The Committee on Temporary Shelter (COTS) mission is to provide emergency shelter, services, and housing for people who are homeless or marginally housed in Vermont. Always an advocate for long-term solutions to end homelessness.
In the value and dignity of every human life.
That housing is a fundamental human right.
That emergency shelter is not the solution to homelessness.
Each year here at Gordon’s, we collect donations for the people that will be sheltered with COTS during the holiday. We have made it a tradition to bring joy to the families at this difficult point in their lives. We have already started collecting!
This year, the list is digital! Here’s their Amazon Registry!
- COTS cannot take any plush toys.
- UNWRAPPED GIFTS
- COTS only accept new and unused items.
- Donate gift cards, $25 is a good increment.
- Keep gifts purchased to under $50 each.
COTS tries to give each child three gifts, and they have children from babies to teens.
COTS is a member agency of the United Way of Chittenden County.
