Over the Lake and through the woods, to our client’s house we go!
Barb Bode collaborated with Erin from Hall Design Group, who is just a hop, skip and a ferry ride over the lake in Essex, New York! This quintessential Adirondack home, with it’s exposed shiplap, rustic timber bed frames, antler lighting fixtures, and those large peaked windows that look over Lake Champlain. Romantic, to say the least.
Barb and Erin, created such classic window coverings. Trimmed Roman Shades.
But our homeowner couldn’t resist enjoying the perks of modern technology, and added motorized Room-Darkening Cellular Shades by Hunter Douglas for the main suite. Smart! You want a vacation home that will encourage you to rest, nap and sleep as long as you want. Now the homeowners can do just that, with a simple press of a button. Snoooooozing at high noon? Don’t mind if I do.
The trimmed Roman Shades are delightful! Trimming, or Edge Banding Roman Shades (or draperies) is an amazing way to create a one-of-a-kind look. You’re unique, why shouldn’t your home decor reflect that?!
