“Originally built in 1963 as a 12-room motel, The Shire Woodstock has always been a part of the fabric of Woodstock. Over time, the property has been improved and expanded with additional amenities and services. Experience the very best of true Vermont, from riverside accommodations to rural farm views.” – Courtesy of The Shire

The Riverhouse Suite recently underwent a beautiful renovation from the kitchen to its window decor. The house features absolutely gorgeous river views with a 2-bedroom, 2 -bathroom suite, a stunning kitchen, roomy living room and it has its own private deck.

Our designer created a very timeless look for the bedroom suites with classic Roman shades in a soft-heathered fabric with a luxurious soft hand, from Coral Fabrics. The fabric is a warm, delectable tone that is reminiscent of a delicious cup of cocoa. Each Roman Shade has a continuous loop operation for ease of use.

For the master bedroom suites with their beautiful panoramic views of the river, the suite needed more insulation from the afternoon solar gain. Our made-in-Vermont, EcoSmart Insulating Shades were the perfect window treatment, combining energy efficiency, privacy and style. Our EcoSmart Cordless shades were also used for the master bath. These shades diffuse the sunlight to cast a wondrous glow, as each guest relaxes in a jetted tub, with their privacy intact.

"We love our shades. Working with the team at Gordon's, we felt they really listened to our needs and what we wanted for the newly updated suites. Their designer thought of things we didn't, including antimicrobial fabrics! Loving our shades!"
