Abbott Library-Lake Sunapee

The Abbott Library was reborn in 2014.

And recently they called on us to help their staff and customers with wonderful window decor. David rushed out to help!

Client Need

There were glare issues for both the customers and employees at the front desk area.

The conference room (photos with dual shades and cellular shades) had numerous issues to solve, to create the right environment.

The library needed black out shades on the south side when they are having visual presentations and also have a light filtering option when they have meetings in the room.

They library wanted to create a more residential feel to a room that faced out into the library. David suggested adding a few cellular shades. It's now cozy as can be, now.

Our Solution

We installed in the front desk area,  a 3% openness white/beige fabric roller shade. This fabric cut down on glare for both the employees and customers when checking out their books.

Diffused glare with great view through.

In the conference room, we installed a dual shade with both the 3% openness white/beige and alabaster blackout fabric.  This gave them the versatility they needed, when hosting meetings or visual presentations.

Dual shades = so many options!

On the interior windows, we installed cellular shades to give them the residential feel they were looking for, when customers were relaxing with their favorite book. Ahhhhhhhhh....

Gold stars for our EcoSmarts! LOOK! Our shades are the STARS of the library!
