Gordon’s Donates Over $5,000 to Vermont Causes
Gordon’s Window Decor made a $4,000 donation to COTS (The Committee for
Temporary Shelter) as well as a $1340 donation to the Mount Snow Chamber of Commerce for Irene assistance.
“COTS is an organization we have always admired” says Kelly Conklin of Gordon’s. “We were thrilled to take part in their walk back in the spring and I feel really thankful that we were able to make a further contribution to them now given how badly their day station was hit this past summer.”
Helping folks affected by Hurricane Irene has been very important to Gordon’s. They bought “I am VT Strong” license plates for their employees and also donated over $3,000 to the Vermont Food Bank to help in their Hurricane Irene relief efforts.
“We firmly believe that it is the responsibility of a business to actively take part in and reach out to its community” says Conklin.
