Hi! I’m Eric.

There are soooo many AWESOME people on the GWD team.
And this year, our 40th anniversary, let’s get to know them…better.

Eric started back in ’24 in our Fulfillment team, building shades and being one of the loudest GWD cheerleaders!

“I came to GWD in 2024 after being in the food industry for almost 40 years.  Don’t get me wrong I still  have a passion, love , joy and appreciation for food, as well as the industry, but It was just time for a change.  Something in me just was like it’s time to move on and  maybe let’s learn something new.  So that’s what I set out to do. I gave myself the opportunity to learn something new.
Let me explain: I went to this amazing company. GWD and knew nothing about building shades or building anything at all really.  I had my interview and they knew right away that I knew nothing about building shades, but yet they still took a chance with me.  As well as me with them.

From the first day and even still today, I’m learning and thriving in my new career. I love it here and I’m proud of myself for taking a chance to learn something new.  I’m eager to learn more and more in the years to come.  This company gives me the tools to improve myself. While I still grow within this company and community. At GWD you work with your  second family as I call it. Everyone has different jobs and different tasks, but in the end it’s a team effort that gets us to our goals and helps the company and individuals continue to grow.  We thrive as individuals and as a team.  We support each other through the work day and sometimes even personal issues.  It’s a family oriented business. I feel I’ve learned so much from this company and the experience I’ve gained.  I feel I have so much more to learn and that’s what this company does. It keeps you motivated and happy to work here with your team. If I was a spokesperson for this company. I’d say this each and every time. Come here to grow with us. Learn from us.  Be the individual you are, but work with the team and you’ll succeed in your future endeavors. As the company grows stronger into their future, you will as well.
