“I had a peachy colored honeycomb shade from Gordon’s installed on my front double window last fall. When I purchased my condo, the windows all had basic beige Bali vinyl slats. These blinds were adequate – they covered the windows for privacy (lowering from the top down only) and they kept out much of the sun in summer months. But, they were kind of blase (excuse my French!) So, I saved my money, and decided to start changing out the old blinds and putting in new blinds/shades. I started with my front first floor double window. I wanted something beautiful and functional, since I spend a lot of time there. I wanted a lovely color. When I started exploring my options, I was, quite frankly, totally overwhelmed by all the choices. I sought help online. I checked out the local big box retailer. I was lost in the wilderness. When I ask a friend for a recommendation, she suggested that I try Gordon’s. Little did I know that when I showed up at Gordon’s, I would run into one of my favorite people in the land of retail. Your designer is committed to helping a buyer make the best decision for their situation. To make a long story short, your designer came to my house, talked over my options, made the correct measurements, advised me on how to take down the old blinds to make ready for the new, and generally helped me to get the biggest bang for my hard earned buck! Did I mention that I love my honeycomb shades? In addition to giving me privacy (lowering from the top or raising from the bottom), the color is just lovely, adding to the ambiance of the room. An added bonus is the insulation in the colder months – I did not know how much heat I was losing through the windows! My goal is to put these shades on more windows throughout my home. So, I’ll be back!”
