Their Ballroom and Conference Center needed an update.
Capitol Plaza Hotel is a historic Vermont Inn, Central Vermont’s Premier Hotel and Conference Center. Located in downtown Montpelier, the Capitol City.
The main conference hall/grand ballroom was in need of updating and renovations. The worn-out roller shades just did not work any longer. The hotel needed something versatile that would work well in function as well as design for the room and its variety of events.
Our designer suggested Silhouette blinds by Hunter Douglas. This shading solution offers room-darkening that was ideal for video presentations, but so versatile they can open the space up for sunlight. A hardwired system was installed for ease of use. (Never have to worry about losing a remote control!)
Draperies were added with a smooth arch insert that accentuated the lines of the existing room, with crystal accessories that coordinated with the existing lighting fixtures. The addition of the arched cornice boards created elegance to the windows, and the drapery added the airy feel.
