Designing cohesively.

Open floor plans are becoming more and more common, flowing from one room to the next is a wondrous experience, but from a design point of view, can be challenging.

A stylish design for one room, might not translate well to the other.

Our designer Jen, collaborated with our homeowners of their gorgeous three-story home on Lake Champlain to create a cohesive design for the entire home.

How fortunate our homeowners have a view like this to enjoy!

Client Need

We decided to remove all of their teal Roman shades and matching drapery..that were dated, and updated their home with a multi-layered look.

Our homeowners needed privacy, AND style.

That's just what we provided, thanks to our designer Jen's wonderful ideas.

Our Solution

Our designer suggested a layered look, with beautiful Hunter Douglas Provenance Woven Wood Roman Shades on all 15+ windows that look out to the lake.

And in this delightful window seat, Roman shades are easy to operate for that perfect light control, to curl up with their favorite book.

Doesn't that sound delicious?

The homeowners picked out a beautiful grey linen from Fabricut, that brings out the hint of grey in the woven woods. The swing arms are bronze (to match her hardware) and a small ball finial to finish it off. Beautiful!

On the french door side windows, our homeowner wanted Swing arms/cranes, because it reminded her of what her Grandmother used. Ahhh, nostalgia.

The woodwork in the home is completely custom and our homeowner realized she didn't need or WANT to cover it up, it should be exposed with an inside mounted shade.

It truly is a stunning overall look.
