University of Vermont Medical Center’s Birthing Center needed to replace 16 year old non- functioning drapes -This is Vermont’s busiest maternity / birthing center.The drapes need to open & close seamlessly and provide clients with a restful room darkened environment.
I found a cutting edge scientific fabric “Green-way” made of 55% recycled fiber and without harmful chemicals. The fabric is also Anti-microbial & Anti Fungal both important properties for a hospital community. The upbeat contemporary dot print adds a fresh appropriate look for nursery rooms. Dim-out provides 98% light block a great sleeping environment – no lining is needed so the drapes are light -easy to move and retain a wispy flow. The new ceiling mounted hardware has wheeled carriers for effortless tracking. The wands are mounted outside on the front edge for easy grasping and mounted on a rugged grommet.
